The big one is “Oh well I wasn’t in class last time so therefore I don’t have to turn in what was assigned when I was gone.” Or “I know the essay was due last week, but I wasn’t here to turn it in, so therefore I should get to turn it in whenever I feel like it with no penalty whatsoever.” Argh.
