If a woman wants to be on some man’s pedestal, there are plenty of men out there willing to do that, but realize…they are hopeless womanizers, and must seek out the next and the next and the next, because, of course, we eventually fall short of the illusion. And the pain of the fall far outlives the temporary high of the pedestal.
Just one jaded woman’s opinion.

so fucking true; and the guys who are lured by the “mystery” are usually disappointed; maybe those guys should go out with the girl and not the mystery; don’t they know the expectation of the mysterious is flawed? the more he figures out, the less there is to learn; the less there is to learn (once he figures out people really are pretty much the same and if not, pretty much just fucked up), the less interesting she is; then he dumps her and she’s even more fucked up for the next guy. How fucking ironic.

Baggage should never be mistaken for mystery.
