a fuckin men. and why is it that me saying that, and feeling sad for him because of that, probably pisses him off? whatever. i’ve got two years of 20s left and I’m freeing myself from older-than-me obligation, especially those that offer no return.

it’s true, though. we can so easily pick out reasons that this can’t be the guy/girl (because I met him online, b-c I met him at a bar, b-c he’s twice my age, etc.) that we hide behind our own defenses (he won’t really want me b-c he met me online, b-c he met me in a bar, because I’m half his age).

I hope this makes sense. I’m a little drunk at a WiFi bar by myself on 6th Street in Austin. But I’m not feeling sorry for myself. I mean I could go talk to that guy in a suit at the bar, but then I’d be meeting him in a bar…
