From Talking Points Memo:

GOP Congressman Attacks Obama For “Enemies List,” And Birth Certificate
Rep. John Sullivan (R-OK) told a Tulsa Republican Club event (Blogblah note: according to a Tulsa World Story) that this is a “scary time” in Washington. “It’s a very frightening time. I see Barack Obama is creating an enemies list of people who oppose this miserable health care plan. I think that’s frightening,” said Sullivan. “That’s from a guy that can’t even show a long-form birth certificate. I think we all ought to be prepared to fight that.”

EMBED-Cops Plant Drugs On Suspect – Watch more free videos

Sis went to dinner with Mom before joining me for the Wednesday movie (“Closer” with Jude Law, Clive Owen, Julia Roberts and Natalee Portman, directed by Mike Nichols). We missed Oz, who’s vacationing in the islands that may or may not be the natural born birthplace of our president. Gah! Oklahoma goes national once again for attaining extremes in political asshattery. Thanks, Sen. Inhofe for making us all look bad.

I love this sentence from a NY Times piece:

It sometimes seems as if most of the news consists of outrage porn, selected specifically to pander to our impulses to judge and punish and get us all riled up with righteous indignation.
