I was teaching 11th Grade U.S. History at Heritage Hall on this day in 2001. The day became more and more horrible. First the planes slamming into the office buildings. The plane at the Pentagon. The plane that slammed into a field in Pennsylvania. The towers, burning and falling. People jumping. The horror grew. What can you say to children at such a time?
