Thanks for posting this, John! They are both pretty good. Since Reagan is viewed more or less on par with Baby Bush (I hope you appreciate my parallel to Haiti’s infamous dictators Papa Doc and Baby Doc..) in Europe, his praise for Reagan caused a lot of raised eyebrows here, to say the least. The demos against Reagan in Europe (who wanted to make Europe the next war theatre via his plans to station cruise missiles between the Germanies) were probably even more numerous than the ones against Baby Bush. But the candidates are both sharp, I’d say. I’d have used exactly Hillary’s arguments against Obama – and vice versa, personally. One ought to merge them, actually. Hillary Obama would beat the shit out of any Rep. A very knowledgeable friend of mine who’s seen them all live in small(!!) meetings barns in Iowa says that Edwards is her favourite, though. After originally having been an Obama fan, then turned on by Hillary’s sheer command of facts. Edward’s the one I’ve also seen live in Stillwater before the last election, BTW. But he just looks so much like what American presidents tend to look like, even in film, so that’s an argument against Edwards..;-) B
