I went back to the Paseo festival again Monday afternoon to hear one of my favorite people play in one of my favorite local bands; Howard Brady often fronts The Rexall Rangers on their stolen credit card honeymoon tour of OKC.
Here’s a picture of Howard B jammin’ with the band on the South Stage:

Please don't ask me why Howard B fixes his hair this way because I've only known him for 15 years and I don't know.
The band, while I was there, did a T.C. Cannon tune, covered “Green River”, and closed with one of Howard’s songs, “Two Doors Down”, which he describes as one of the few love songs he’s ever written where someone doesn’t end up dead or in jail. Or, at least divorced.
While I saw a lot of old friends and some more recent friends (and even took pictures of them for myself), this time I thought I’d share a picture of my possible next X, Katie. I’ve known her a little while and she’s funny and smart. Of course, she has no idea that she’s my next X since I’ve never asked her out. Sure enough, she’s also playing hard to get. She kind of treats me like a genial old man who happened to make her acquaintence somehow. For now, that seems OK.
Blogblah

I think you’re onto something with the future X mentality.
